The Ancient Earth-Shaker | Echoes of the Ancient Path

Strength Carved in Spruce.

Behold the fourth chapter of our Echoes of the Ancient Path collection. This 24-inch serving tray features The Ancient Earth-Shaker, a formidable bear spirit moving through a gnarled, runic thicket. In Northern folklore, the bear is the guardian of the forest's secrets, and this piece brings that same sense of power and protection to your home.

Handcrafted from Northern Spruce, the light wood highlights the incredible density of the runic engraving, making every fur texture and ancient symbol stand out. To ensure this "Guardian" remains as enduring as its namesake, we’ve applied a professional epoxy flood coat to the serving surface. This creates a glass-like finish that is easy to wipe clean while providing a high-contrast depth to the artwork.

Craftsmanship & Utility

  • The Dual-Face Advantage: We’ve designed this for the modern host who values both form and function. While the top is protected by a durable, food-safe epoxy layer, the back remains bare, natural wood. Flip the tray over for light prep or slicing with forks and knives, preserving the bear's likeness on the front for serving.

  • Rugged Elegance: The tray is flanked by deep, dark-stained handles that echo the shadows of the old-growth forest. Finished with a protective epoxy coating, they offer a comfortable and secure grip for serving everything from hearty appetizers to artisan spreads.

  • Hand-Built Heritage: Every piece is created at Belvie Acres, celebrating the natural variations in Northern Spruce. Your board will have its own unique grain and character, making it a one-of-a-kind addition to your collection.
